We like helping students think. We’re not so much interested in teaching them WHAT to think, but more importantly HOW to think. And even more…that they SHOULD think. We try to create a classroom environment that allows students the space to think, encourages open discussion, and hopefully lights a passion for learning.
We were created for learning.

Jonathan
From the overflow of his 13-year English teaching career, Jonathan founded Created for Learning and is the mind behind our library of novel studies and teaching curriculum. He enjoyed teaching 6th grade up through college seniors, with most of his time spent in 7th and 8th grade English. He’s had the privilege of teaching English, Middle School Creative Writing, and at the college level, Freshman Composition, Creative Writing, and Literacy.
He enjoys the gift of being a father. He also enjoys what he calls “full-body storytelling as an actor. He’s acted in over 50 films and TV shows. His work has garnered the award of Best Leading Actor twice. He is fairly certain he’s in a singular cadre of actors whose birth country no longer exists, but he hopes someone will prove him otherwise!
He has also written novels for young adults and was the head editor of the RipRap Literary Journal.
